As of July 1, 2020, Guldager A/S has taken over SBC-Inter - a 100 percent Danish-owned company founded by Ole Mariboe in 1975. Ever since, the company has been a leader in anti-corrosion water treatment, gentle cleaning of cooling systems, acid cleaning and cleaning of heating systems and chemical surface treatment.
In 2000 the company was taken over by the sons Steen and Carsten Mariboe, and at the same time changed its name to SBC-Inter. The result of SBC-Inter's combined experience and know-how is that they have worked in most of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America with both onshore and offshore projects.
SBC currently works with power plant boilers, low pressure boilers and cooling towers, where they work purposefully to develop and apply services that take into account both the environment and safety. "We are therefore pleased that we now become part of Guldager where we together can develop new strong service concepts for the industry" says Steen Mariboe from SBC-Inter.
"We are very proud that SBC-Inter will become part of Guldager. We are a leading Danish company within water treatment, which for almost 80 years has built up a European organization with skilled and motivated employees. The water treatment area is growing rapidly, and Guldager has strong competencies and a good market position in Denmark, Switzerland and Belgium. The goal in the coming years will be to use the many years of experience of the employees in Guldager to expand the company within water treatment through continued development of the company, acquisitions of companies and technologies." says Claus Torbøl, CEO Guldager.
