With effect from May 1, 2024, Guldager takes over the ownership of the business area Process Water & Service from the Envidan Group in Sweden. With the acquisition, Guldager increases its presence in service and maintenance in the important Swedish market for industrial water treatment.
After the acquisition, the acquired business area will be integrated into Guldager Sweden AB. Similarly, all contracts and service agreements etc. that customers have had with Envidan Processvatten & Service will be taken over by Guldager Sweden.
"The acquisition of Processvatten & Service gives Guldager a stronger foundation in Sweden. The Scandinavian market is a strategic focus area for us, and we have for some time wanted to increase our growth, especially in Sweden. Therefore, it was obvious to enter into a dialog with Envidan about the acquisition of this business area, as Envidan has a different business focus," says Claus Torbøl, CEO of Guldager A/S.
About the sale of Processvatten & Service to Guldager A/S, Ole Fritz Adeler, CEO of the Envidan Group, says
"The transfer of ownership of Processvatten & Service to Guldager is a natural step in sharpening Envidan's profile in the water cycle in Sweden, as we have our expertise in consulting, turnkey solutions and software. It has therefore been natural to discuss a divestment of Processvatten to Guldager, which has a strong service organization and a strong will to grow in the Swedish market."
The deal includes Guldager taking over Processvatten & Service's team of 9 employees, as well as the company's premises in Solna near Stockholm.
