From January 1, 2024, Guldager A/S has taken over the activities of Servicebilen ApS, also known as Vision Watercare.
Vision Watercare will thus become part of a larger family with a very wide range of products and services within water treatment.
For Vision Watercare's customers, everything will continue as before. In the future, you will enjoy the same great service and the same products you are familiar with. The same applies to the fitters and technicians you are used to meeting and the contacts you have at Vision Watercare. In the future, they will be the same people you know.
On the other hand, the merger with Guldager A/S means that Vision Watercare's customers will have direct access to the wider range of water treatment products and services that Guldager can offer, in close collaboration with Vision Watercare.
The integration with Guldager also means increased financial strength, which will benefit Vision Watercare and ultimately its customers.
For Guldager, the addition of Vision Watercare's resources, customers and technology means that Guldager will both strengthen existing competencies and customer relationships within water softening in the hotel, restaurant and catering area, and add new competencies and customer relationships.
A key asset at Vision Watercare is a proprietary CTU (Calcium Treatment Unit) filter for use in larger coffee and vending machines and in the hospitality industry, developed by Vision Watercare's founder and CEO, Svend Bødtker Nielsen.
Unlike the widely used disposable filters, Vision Watercare's filters are reusable and therefore cheaper for customers in the long run, while it is far more climate-friendly to use the same filter over and over again. Vision Watercare has also developed a comprehensive quality control of each individual filter to ensure consistent water quality.
The machines with the reusable filters can be connected to an advanced IoT (Internet of Things) system that measures the water consumption of each filter in real time and transmits the information wirelessly to Vision Watercare's back-office system, which can then provide customers with an instant status of the individual filters.

About Servicebilen ApS / Vision Watercare
Servicebilen ApS was founded in 2005 by Svend Bødtker Nielsen, who has run the company since. Svend and his entire team are joining Guldager following the acquisition. Over time, the company has established a strong position supplying and servicing of water treatment systems for hotels, restaurants and catering companies, and will continue to do so as an integrated part of Guldager A/S.
Svend Bødtker Nielsen is the new head of Guldager's HoReCa department, which will be called "Vision Watercare by Guldager".
