Effective September 1, 2021, Guldager has acquired Stutz GmbH – a 100% German company founded in 2007 by Axel Stutz.
Stutz currently focuses on the repair and maintenance of public swimming pools, water treatment plants, and industrial water treatment systems.
The scope of repair services includes the replacement of defective plant components and the retrofitting of piping systems in stainless steel, PE, PP, PVC, and PVDF materials. Additionally, complex processing plants, custom-built products, customer-specific ultrafiltration systems, and pumping stations fall within their area of expertise. Stutz constructs new filter systems or executes complete overhauls of existing filters in compliance with DIN 19643 specifications. Assembly plans for new plants are generated using state-of-the-art CAD technology and 3D applications, particularly for plant engineering. This enables Stutz to manufacture the majority of its piping in-house, thereby ensuring timely delivery.
Guldager's acquisition of Stutz is significant for customers in Germany and Switzerland, as it enables the provision of a comprehensive service program for swimming pools, bathing facilities, and industrial clients.
Claus Torbøl, CEO of Guldager, looks forward to enhanced service capabilities: “We are extremely proud that Stutz is becoming part of Guldager. As a leading European water treatment company with nearly 75 years of experience, we have built a European organization comprising qualified and dedicated professionals. The water treatment sector is expanding rapidly, and Guldager maintains strong competencies and a solid market position in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium. In the years ahead, our goal is to leverage Guldager's extensive expertise to expand our water treatment operations through continuous corporate development and the acquisition of new businesses and technologies.”
