As of September 1, 2021, Guldager acquires Stutz GmbH - a 100 percent German company founded in 2007 by Axel Stutz.
Today, Stutz focuses on the repair and maintenance of public swimming pools, waterworks and industrial water treatment.
The repair area includes the replacement of defective plant components as well as the retrofitting of pipelines in the materials stainless steel, PE, PP, PVC and PVDF, but also complex processing plants, customized products, customer-specific ultrafiltration systems and pumping stations are part of the area of responsibility. Stutz builds new filter systems or carries out a complete renovation of existing filters in accordance with the specifications of DIN 19643. The preparation of assembly plans for new plants is carried out with state-of-the-art CAD technology and 3D applications, especially for plant construction. This enables Stutz to carry out the majority of pipe production in its own workshop and thus deliver on time.
Guldager's acquisition of Stutz is important for customers in Germany and Switzerland, as a complete service program for swimming pools and spas as well as for industrial customers can now be offered.
Claus Torbøl, CEO of Guldager, is looking forward to even better service opportunities: "We are very proud that Stutz will become part of Guldager. We are a leading European water treatment company, which for almost 75 years has built up a European organization with qualified and motivated employees. Water treatment is growing rapidly, and Guldager has strong competencies and a good market position in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium. In the coming years, the goal will be to use Guldager's many years of experience to expand the company within water treatment through further development of the company, acquisitions of companies and technologies."
