On September 1st, 2021, Guldager has taken over Stutz GmbH – a 100 percent German company founded in 2007 by Axel Stutz.
Today, Stutz concentrates on the manufacture and maintenance of public water treatment plants, swimming pools, and industrial plants.
The repair area includes the replacement of defective plant components, as well as the retrofitting of pipelines in the materials stainless steel, PE, PP, PVC, and PVDF, but also complex processing plants, custom-made products, customer-specific ultrafiltration systems and pumping stations are part of the area of responsibility. Stutz builds new filter systems or carries out a complete renovation of existing filters in accordance with the specifications of DIN 19643. The creation of assembly plans for new plants is carried out with state-of-the-art CAD technology and 3D applications, especially for plant construction. This allows Stutz to carry out the majority of pipe production in its own workshop and thus deliver on time.
The acquisition of Stutz by Guldager would secure that Guldager can offer a complete service program for public swimming pools to customers and a more broad water treatment program for industrial customers in Germany and Switzerland.
Claus Torbøl, CEO of Guldager, is looking forward to even better service options: “We are very proud that Stutz will be part of Guldager. We are a leading European company in water treatment, which for almost 75 years has built up a European organization with qualified and motivated employees. The field of water treatment is growing rapidly and Guldager has strong competencies and a good market position in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium. In the coming years, the aim will be to use the many years of experience of Guldager employees to expand the company in water treatment through further development of the company, acquisition of companies and technologies.”
