In most locations, the temperature of the domestic hot
water is well-regulated – a controller manages the temperature in
the hot water tank or at the heat exchanger outlet.
But what happens when the hot water leaves the
tank and circulates through the property? In some buildings,
this distance can be quite substantial due to the scale
of the property.

Do all residents have access to hot water? What is the temperature
like in the furthest stairwell? Does it comply with the
Building Regulations requirement for a minimum of 50 °C hot
