Guldager A/S, a water technology company, has hired Sevgyl Abdulovski as its new CFO.
He joins us from a similar position as CFO at Simatek A/S, and prior to that has held equivalent roles at TITAN Containers A/S and Rohde Nielsen A/S.
Sevgyl holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, is a state-authorised public accountant, and also holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School.
With an educational and professional background in auditing, Sevgyl Abdulovski developed a growing desire through his auditing work to apply his financial and accounting expertise to assume co-responsibility for corporate management. Since 2009, Sevgyl Abdulovski has therefore worked in various CFO positions.
After gaining experience with several owner-managed and family-owned companies, Sevgyl Abdulovski began to turn his attention to private equity-owned companies, driven by a desire to explore other types of ownership. That opportunity arose with an inquiry from Guldager, whose majority owner is the private equity firm Capidea.
Throughout his career, Sevgyl Abdulovski has accumulated extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly regarding the integration of acquired companies into existing organizations, with a strong emphasis on the integration of acquired foreign entities.
Sevgyl Abdulovski was born and raised in Denmark, the son of Macedonian-Turkish parents, which is why Turkish is his second native language.
