The water technology company Guldager A/S has appointed Sevgyl Abdulovski as new CFO.
He comes from a similar position as CFO at Simatek A/S and has previously held similar positions at TITAN Containers A/S and Rohde Nielsen A/S.
Sevgyl holds an MSc in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, is a certified public accountant and an executive MBA from Henley Business School.
With an educational and professional background in accountancy, Sevgyl Abdulovski's work as an accountant gave her an even greater appreciation for using her financial and accounting skills to take on co-responsibility in the management of a company. Since 2009, Sevgyl Abdulovski has worked in various CFO positions.
After trying his hand at several owner-managed and family-owned businesses, Sevgyl Abdulovski began looking at private equity firms, wanting to explore other types of ownership. That opportunity came with the request from Guldager, which has the private equity fund Capidea as majority owner.
Throughout his career, Sevgyl Abdulovski has gained extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly the integration of acquired companies into existing organizations, and especially the integration of acquired foreign companies.
Sevgyl Abdulovski was born and raised in Denmark, the son of Macedonian-Turkish parents, making Turkish his second native language.
