UniSoft® Hydrus
Soft water for larger plants.
UniSoft® Hydrus puts an effective stop to limescale. The special filter mass is able to ion exchange calcium and magnesium and deliver soft water.
With its low salt and water consumption, UniSoft® Hydrus is one of the most cost-effective softening filters on the market. It delivers high flow at moderate pressure drop.
The plant is dimensioned for the individual task. It is volume-controlled and regeneration is adjusted according to water consumption and hardness, but can also be timed. Both via the Soft start control unit.

Function description
As the raw water passes through the resin, calcium and magnesium ions are replaced by sodium ions and the plant delivers soft water. The plant is manually operated and controlled by the water pressure, therefore no electrical connection is necessary.
The plant is regenerated with salt tablets and the time of regeneration is determined by the water consumption.
The capacity per regeneration depends on the current hardness level.
