Environmentally friendly dosing of CO2 prevents limescale
The CalcFree system is a carbon dioxide (CO2) dosing system that, in combination with a Katolyse® system, prevents both limescale precipitation and corrosion in the entire pipe system up to the last tapping point.
CO2 is already a natural part of the chemical system involved in lime precipitation. By dosing an excess of CO2 to the calcareous water, the lime can be kept in solution so that it does not precipitate on heath surfaces in heat exchangers and piping systems.
CalcFree Pro is inexpensive to run. The consumption of carbon dioxide is very modest and has no noticeable impact on water quality. As carbon dioxide is already a component of the water, dosing has no environmental impact.
The system is proven to be efficient, economical and environmentally friendly and has been successfully used in a wide range of industries.
