Guldager As of May 1, 2021, GmbH will acquire Thomas Bauer Wassertechnischer Vertrieb—a 100 percent German-owned company founded by Thomas Bauer in 1997.
Bauer currently focuses on the repair and maintenance of public swimming pools, including the servicing of chlorine gas systems as well as measurement and control technology. The scope of repair work encompasses the repair and replacement of defective components, as well as the retrofitting of components in swimming pools.
Bauer constructs new sand filters or performs complete overhauls of existing filters in accordance with DIN 19643 specifications. Assembly drawings for new applications are generated using advanced CAD technology and 3D applications specifically tailored for system design. This enables Bauer to execute the majority of pipe fabrication in-house, thereby ensuring on-time delivery. Several employees have been involved in the construction of municipal swimming pools since 1983, bringing profound technical expertise to the field.
Guldager's acquisition of Bauer benefits customers in Germany and Switzerland by enabling the provision of a comprehensive service portfolio for swimming pools and aquatic facilities.
