As of July 1 2020, Guldager A/S has acquired Drytech – a 100 percent Danish-owned company, established by Niels Olsen in 2012. Drytech has established more than 1000 systems that dry out the basements of Danish homeowners and housing associations.
Cheapest and best electro-osmosis
Drytech gives you the most efficient – and even cheapest – way to dry masonry. “Our system is the most leading and well-documented system for this purpose, which is why we are pleased that we are now joining Guldager” says Niels Olsen. The system is based on the reputable German Drymat System developed in 1997 by The German Frank Lindner. His company is Europe’s leading manufacturer of electroosmosis technology, which is quality assured via an Önorm. Drytech is currently the sole distributor of the system in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Electroosm is the green path to a dry basement
- contributes to a healthy indoor climate
- works without chemistry
- uses as little power as the TV on stand-by
- reduces heat consumption
- consists of material with the same life span as the house
- gives a smaller carbon footprint
Drytech’s system has both a clear financial advantage and it is incredibly efficient. Drytech’s system is a lot of money to be saved compared to traditional solutions, and the system’s power consumption is less than 10 DKK per month.

Guldager’s acquisition of Drytech is important for housing associations and residential buildings that Guldager already supplies, as there is now the opportunity to offer a complete service program to this kind of customer. Therefore Guldager can also offer drying out and service of basements for these properties.
Claus Torbøl, CEO at Guldager, is excited about the acquisition and looks forward to even better service opportunities: “We are very pleased that Drytech will be part of Guldager. We are a leading Danish company in water treatment, which for almost 80 years has built a European organization with skilled and motivated employees. The water treatment area is growing rapidly and Guldager has strong competences as well as a good position in the market in Denmark, Switzerland and Belgium. The goal in the coming years will be to use the many years of experience of the employees of Guldager to expand the company in water processing through continued development of the company, acquisition of companies and technologies.”
